    HUE - The armed forces and local authorities urgently overcame the landslide in Chan May - Lang Co commune due to heavy rain.

    On October 18, units under the Hue City Border Guard and the Command Committee of Area 3 - Phu Loc coordinated with local authorities to urgently overcome the landslide in Chan May - Lang Co commune.

    Accordingly, prolonged heavy rain caused the Bu Lu riverbank (Thuy Yen Thuong village) to be seriously eroded, threatening the property and lives of people.

    Border guards, militia, and commune police have mobilized vehicles, used wood stakes, tarpaulins, and rocks to reinforce the landslide site, prevent the risk of landslides from spreading, and protect neighboring residential areas.

    Units strive to complete reinforcements on October 18; at the same time, maintain forces on duty, monitor flood developments, and proactively respond to ensure people's safety.
