On October 10, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Dong Thap province issued a letter calling for support for people to overcome the damage caused by storms No. 9 and No. 10.
In recent days, storms No. 9 and No. 10 have been the strongest storms in decades, accompanied by major floods and landslides, leaving serious consequences for people and property in the Northern and North Central regions.
Promoting the tradition of solidarity and the morality of "The healthy leaves cover the torn leaves", contributing to sharing to help people affected by natural disasters overcome the consequences of natural disasters, implementing the direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Thap province - the Mobilization Committee for Relief of Dong Thap province calls on Party committees, authorities, agencies, unions, cadres, civil servants, public employees, armed forces, religious organizations, socio-political organizations, social organizations, enterprises and people of all walks of life to show their kindness, share, actively participate in contributing to support people in the provinces and cities in the Northern and North Central regions to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.
The contributions of the people of Dong Thap province will greatly encourage the people of the provinces and cities in the Northern and North Central regions. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Thap province respectfully acknowledged the contributions and quickly transferred them to help people in the provinces and cities in the Northern and North Central regions overcome the consequences of natural disasters and quickly stabilize their lives.
Accordingly, the contribution level for cadres, civil servants, public employees, armed forces who are receiving salaries from the support budget is at least 1 day's salary; workers support at least 1 day's income. Union members, association members, and households with average income or higher save and spend VND 50,000 or more; social organizations of agencies, units, and enterprises in the province support voluntarily, depending on their ability and kindness.
The time for receiving contributions is from October 10, 2025 to October 31, 2025.
