In November 2024, Khanh Hoa Provincial Chairman Nguyen Tan Tuan signed an official dispatch regarding the disbursement of public investment capital in the last months of the year.
By the end of October 31, 2024, the disbursement rate of the 2024 capital plan of Khanh Hoa province compared to the capital plan assigned by the Prime Minister reached 47.3%, lower than the average disbursement rate of the whole country (52.29%).
Compared with the actual capital plan assigned by Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee (excluding local government bond sources), the disbursement rate of the capital plan for the first 10 months of 2024 reached 52.8%.
The disbursement rate in the first 10 months of 2024 of Khanh Hoa province is low, mainly due to compensation and site clearance work.
Khanh Hoa Chairman Nguyen Tan Tuan acknowledged and commended 20 agencies, units and localities that achieved high disbursement results, higher than the national average disbursement rate (52.29%); but also criticized and requested correction and improvement for 19 agencies, units and localities with disbursement results lower than the national average disbursement rate.
19 local agencies and units were criticized, including the Department of Tourism (3.3%); Department of Information and Communications (4.1%); Provincial Military Command (11.3%); Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Agricultural and Rural Development Works (20.3%); Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (26.21%); Khanh Hoa University (26.8%); Department of Construction (26.9%); Nha Trang College of Technology (29.3%); Tram Huong Forestry One Member Co., Ltd. (30.2%);
Van Phong Economic Zone Management Board (33.1%); Department of Transport (34.9%); Management Board of Traffic Construction Investment Projects (35.9%); Provincial Police (38.1%); Cam Ranh City (40.2%); Irrigation Works Exploitation Company Limited (41.0%); Department of Science and Technology (45.8%); Management Board of Bac Khanh Hoa Protective Forest (48.6%); Truong Sa District People's Committee (49.7%).
To complete the highest disbursement of public investment capital in the last months of 2024, Chairman of Khanh Hoa province Nguyen Tan Tuan requested localities, agencies and units to identify public investment capital disbursement as one of the top important political tasks; directly direct the disbursement of public investment capital of their agencies to reach or exceed the rate of 95% of the plan assigned by the Prime Minister.
Be responsible to the Chairman of Khanh Hoa province if their agencies, units and localities do not complete the disbursement of the 2024 plan; resolutely and strictly handle organizations and individuals who lack awareness and responsibility in their work, affecting the progress, as well as failing to complete the disbursement of public investment capital.
