According to the local assessment, in February 2025, although Khanh Hoa focused on streamlining the apparatus, sectors and levels still paid top attention to implementing socio-economic development tasks.
Therefore, the province's socio-economic situation in the first 2 months of 2025 continued to achieve many positive results, with growth in many areas compared to the same period last year.
Notably, state budget revenue reached VND 5,019 billion, equal to 20.8% of the estimate and increasing by 65.3% over the same period last year; total export turnover for the two months reached 430 million USD, up 37.7% over the same period in 2024; total retail sales of consumer goods and services reached VND 22,594 billion, up 12.6%.
Regarding key tasks in March 2025, Khanh Hoa Chairman Nguyen Tan Tuan requested to urgently complete the work of arranging the organization, arranging personnel, appointing leadership positions within the agency, unit... to soon stabilize the new organizational apparatus and operate effectively.
At the same time, proactively research and implement Conclusion No. 127 of the Politburo and the Secretariat on research and proposal to continue to reorganize the apparatus of the political system...
The Chairman of Khanh Hoa province directed the Department of Home Affairs to advise on 2-3 options for arranging commune-level administrative units (with a new boundary map) to be ready for implementation as soon as the Central Government decides.
In addition, the Department of Finance carefully studies the local additional support policy for cadres, civil servants and public employees affected by the organizational arrangement according to Decree No. 178 of the Government.
Preside over and coordinate with departments, branches and sectors to review the progress of public investment projects to propose appropriate solutions (continue or stop implementation).
In particular, it is noted to temporarily suspend investment in construction of working headquarters and investment in fixed asset procurement until there are instructions from competent authorities; in case of urgency, report to the superior agency directly for consideration and decision.
Departments, branches, sectors and localities urgently review and completely resolve the remaining work, striving to complete at least 2 months ahead of schedule to prevent progress from being affected by the arrangement of administrative units.
The Chairman of Khanh Hoa province also requested the Provincial Police and the Provincial Military Command to review, evaluate the progress, propose to continue implementing or temporarily suspending construction investment for each working headquarters of the Commune-level Police and the Commune-level Military Command, and send a report to the General Department of Finance before March 15, 2025.
