On April 5, information from the Traffic Police Department, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police said that this agency is coordinating to deploy a peak general review of dump trucks and semi-trailers with a tonnage of 15 tons or more, in order to tighten management and ensure traffic order and safety.
According to the plan, the peak period will take place in 1 month. Functional forces will conduct a comprehensive review of each vehicle, including registration information, operating status, technical conditions and compliance with traffic safety regulations.
The Traffic Police Department will provide a list of vehicles subject to inspection to the commune-level police where the vehicle owner resides for coordination in management.
On that basis, local police proceed to verify the owner, check the lifespan, technical condition, as well as the installation and operation of the journey monitoring device.
Notably, functional forces focused on inspecting violations such as arbitrarily changing the structure, "modifying" vehicles, especially the situation of expanding the truck bed.
The comparison of the size of the truck bed with the registration parameters will be carried out strictly to promptly detect and handle violations.
For vehicles that have been transferred but have not been transferred, functional forces will verify and guide vehicle owners to complete procedures according to regulations.
In case the vehicle does not operate in the locality, the police will coordinate with the place where the vehicle is operating to inspect and handle it.
Representatives of functional forces said that violations will be strictly handled according to legal regulations.
This general review aims to improve the efficiency of state management of transport vehicles, promptly detect and prevent violations, contributing to reducing traffic accidents and ensuring traffic order and safety in the area.
Functional agencies request businesses, cooperatives and individuals owning vehicles subject to inspection to strictly comply, and coordinate when requested.
