On September 19, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province issued a Plan to deploy fire prevention, fighting and rescue (PCCC and CNCH) in the area.
The goal of the plan is to promote the combined strength of the political system and the whole society, taking the people as the center in this work.
According to the plan, state management of fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue will be implemented seriously, in accordance with legal regulations, focusing on propaganda, dissemination of knowledge and laws on fire prevention and fighting and building a movement for the entire population to participate.
Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee identifies people as an important subject, resource and driving force, at the same time, all fire prevention and fighting activities must ensure the rights, health, life and property of the people; maintain fire safety to serve socio-economic development, political stability, social order and safety.
The plan also emphasizes the motto "four on-site" (on-site forces, on-site vehicles, on-site commands, on-site logistics), considering prevention as the main goal and requiring local Party committees and authorities to clearly identify the responsibilities and importance of fire prevention and fighting and rescue in the new situation.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Police with departments, branches, sectors and localities to proactively develop and implement plans and strategies for fire fighting, rescue, especially in large-scale situations, requiring the mobilization of many forces and vehicles to participate.
In 2025, the province will organize at least 2 provincial-level fire fighting and rescue drills; coordinate with the Forest Protection Department and the Army to develop a plan to mobilize forest fire fighting forces; ensure safety for important political, economic and cultural events held in the area.
In addition, the province will promote the dissemination of laws, knowledge and skills on fire prevention and fighting and rescue on mass media; replicate the model of "PCCC Safety Joint Stock Company", "P public fire fighting point", "PCCC Safety residential area", the movement "My house has fire extinguishers".
Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee also requested to increase scoring and consider recognizing advanced models in the movement of all people participating in fire prevention and fighting in 2025, and at the same time organize activities in response to "All people's fire prevention, fire fighting, rescue day" (October 4).
