The Phu Tho Province Cultural and Arts House project started construction in April 2022, the project has a total adjusted investment of nearly VND426 billion from the central and local budgets and other legal capital sources.

The project is located in a prime location of the old Viet Tri city (now Viet Tri ward), surrounded by the headquarters of the State agency, Hung Vuong Square, Hung Vuong Avenue, Van Lang Park and many bustling shopping and entertainment centers.
The Phu Tho Province Cultural and Artistic House project was built on a plot of land with an area of 17,805 m2, a project with a scale of 1,000 seats including 3 floors above ground, 1 basement and 1 roof floor; the construction area of the project is 4,947 m2 (including an outdoor stage); the construction density is about 28%...

The total main floor area is about 14,274m2, the additional attic floor area is about 400m2; the total height of the project (from sidewalk) is about 35m; auxiliary items create a common landscape for the project; technical solutions, electricity, water, fire protection systems... synchronously according to the project level...
The interior of the building is designed according to the theater standards, each space is designed according to a separate theme suitable for the purpose of use; materials used to decorate the interior are mainly wood, ceramic, glass, stone and colored metal.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Duong Hoang Huong - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Tho province affirmed that the project was built to create a highlight in architecture, ensuring harmony with Hung Vuong Square area and urban landscape of Viet Tri area.
Along with that, the project is a place to organize professional and unprofessional cultural and artistic performances, mass cultural and artistic activities and other community activities on politics, economics, culture - society of the people in the province, serving the needs of cultural and artistic enjoyment of the people and tourists.
At the same time, it is a tourist attraction for visitors to Viet Tri - the festival city of the origin of Vietnamese ethnic groups, where there are two representative intangible cultural heritages of humanity (Hung Vuong Worship and Xoan Phu Tho Singing).
Phu Tho province has 7 projects among 250 works and projects started and inaugurated to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2 (including the Phu Tho Provincial Cultural and Artistic House project).
