On May 7, Dien Bien Provincial Police and the Oil and Gas Exploration and Exploitation Corporation held the inauguration ceremony of the Examination House - Hospital 7/5. The project is supported by the Oil and Gas exploration and Exploitation Corporation.
The first floor includes gastrointestinal endoscopy clinic, eye clinic, chronic clinic, emergency resuscitation clinic and testing. The 2nd floor is an obstetric and gynecological clinic, maxillofacial clinic, ear, nose and throat clinic, ultrasound room and soldiers clinic. The 3rd floor is canteen.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Duc Thuy - Director of 7/5 Hospital said: "The project not only solves the shortage of clinics at the Hospital but also contributes to improving the capacity of hospital staff and doctors to examine and treat diseases, creating favorable conditions for officers, soldiers and people in the area to visit and treat diseases".
7/5 Hospital (Dien Bien Provincial Police) is one of the facilities that both serves the examination and treatment of officers and soldiers of the Provincial Police and the medical examination and treatment needs of people in the area and the Police of Northern Lao provinces with over 20,000 medical examinations and treatments/year.
On this occasion, the Oil and Gas Exploration and Exploitation Corporation supported 1 billion VND to build a solidarity house for people in especially difficult circumstances in Dien Bien province.
Also on May 7, Dien Bien province held a flag-raising ceremony and installed a signboard for the A Pa Chai Flag Tower project in Sin Thau commune, Muong Nhe district (near the Vietnam - Laos - China border).
The A Pa Chai Flag Tower project started construction in November 2023, with a total investment of 31 billion VND; on the top of the mountain, 1,459m above sea level.
On May 7, on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory, Muong Thanh Group officially opened Muong Thanh Luxury Dien Bien Hotel. This is the first 5-star hotel in Dien Bien province and the 62nd hotel in the Group's system at home and abroad.
