The route will be managed by the Department of Construction from Road Management Area IV - Vietnam Road Administration from July 1, 2025.
At the time of handover, the current status of the route had high traffic density, a large number of heavy-duty vehicles circulating; degradation, damage to the roadbed and road surface on the entire route.
Since receiving the route management and maintenance; the Department of Construction has urgently reviewed, developed a maintenance plan, and submitted it to the Provincial People's Committee for approval. At the same time, the Department directs maintenance units to regularly maintain; patch and repair damaged roadbeds and surfaces; paint additional paint, clean road surfaces...
However, maintenance costs are often limited; traffic is high, the weather in the rainy season in 2025 is complicated due to the impact of storms; the above work is only carried out at a maintenance level to basically ensure the route is exploited while waiting for the repair projects to start.

Up to now, the Department of Construction has completed the project documents, is organizing bidding and is expected to start construction in December 2025; Basically complete to ensure exploitation before the Lunar New Year 2026.
In 2026, continue to repair the remaining damaged sections of the route of about 20km. Up to now, the Department of Construction is completing investment preparation procedures, expected to start construction around the first quarter of 2026 (before the rainy season) and complete in the second quarter of 2026.
