Starting construction of Long Thanh Airport Aircraft Maintenance Technical Center with a scale of over 8 hectares

    Dong Nai - Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company started construction of the Aircraft Maintenance Technical Center (Hangar No. 3 and No. 4) at Long Thanh airport.

    On August 19, at the Long Thanh airport construction site in Dong Nai province, Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Aircraft Maintenance Technical Center (Hangar No. 3 and No. 4).

    The Hangar No. 3 and No. 4 projects with a total investment of about VND1,700 billion will form a modern aircraft maintenance area, meeting international standards, creating jobs for about 500 - 600 workers.

    The project has a scale of 8.46 hectares, including: Building a maintenance workshop capable of receiving at least 2 code E aircraft and 4 code C aircraft at the same time, an operator, a high-tech equipment system and synchronous technical infrastructure...

    The project is expected to be an important link in the service value chain of Long Thanh airport.

    The project is set to be basically completed in 2025 and the entire project will be completed by June 2026.
