According to information from the People's Committee of Son Ha district, during the survey and landslide remediation process in the Van Ca Vai mountain area, Lang Dau residential group, Di Lang town, the authorities found that in the landslide area, there is currently an electric pole belonging to the 110kV line connecting from Son Tra Hydropower Plant to the 220kV transformer station.
To ensure the safety of people in the area and the safety of the 110kV power line of Son Tra Hydropower Plant, the People's Committee of Son Ha District has repeatedly requested Dat Phuong Son Tra Hydropower Joint Stock Company to urgently have a plan to relocate the power pole.
The district People's Committee sent a document and held two direct meetings with the leaders of Dat Phuong Son Tra Hydropower Joint Stock Company. However, Dat Phuong Son Tra Company stated that relocating the power pole was very difficult and seemed impossible.
On June 6, 2024, the Interdisciplinary Inspection Team chaired by the National Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control inspected the use of the 2023 Central budget reserve fund to overcome the consequences of natural disasters and landslides, led by Mr. Pham Duc Luan - Director of the Department of Dyke Management and Natural Disaster Prevention and Control - Chief of the Standing Office of the National Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control. During the inspection, the team assessed that the landslide location at Van Ca Vai mountain is very dangerous. If there is no thorough treatment plan, there will be a risk of landslides again, endangering the lives and property of people living around the foot of the mountain. Therefore, relocating the above electricity pole is necessary to have a thorough treatment plan.
To ensure a safe handling plan, ensure the progress of completing the landslide repair at Van Ca Vai mountain before the upcoming flood season and ensure capital disbursement according to regulations, Son Ha District People's Committee requests the Provincial People's Committee to pay attention to directing relevant departments and branches to request Dat Phuong Son Tra Hydropower Joint Stock Company to promptly implement the relocation of the above electricity pole.
