On August 15, the Management Board of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Dong Nai city just received a dossier requesting approval of the investment policy for the Long Thanh concentrated digital technology park infrastructure construction project in An Phuoc and Binh An communes, Dong Nai city, with an investment scale of more than 119 hectares.
The project has a total investment of more than 1,399 billion VND, of which owner's equity is nearly 210 billion VND (accounting for 15% of the total project investment capital) and mobilized capital is more than 1,189 billion VND.
The project implementation period is 50 years.
Regarding progress, the project will start construction in the fourth quarter of 2028 and complete infrastructure in the fourth quarter of 2031.
Previously, in March 2026, Dong Nai City People's Committee approved the task of zoning planning at a scale of 1/2,000 of Long Thanh concentrated digital technology zone.
According to the decision, the goal is to form an information technology center, create infrastructure for digital technology application and development; create a favorable environment for investment activities to attract capital and technology at home and abroad, contributing to building the information technology industry into a key and important economic sector of the country.
In addition, it creates a working environment that meets international standards, attracts high-quality labor, and contributes to improving the competitiveness of Vietnamese digital technology enterprises.
Creating information technology products and services capable of replacing imported products, contributing to promoting the development of the fields of: Telecommunications, finance, banking, customs, aviation, trade, e-commerce and public services, education, training, health, security, defense.
Long Thanh concentrated digital technology park is located near the Long Thanh airport project being constructed and planned to be put into commercial operation at the end of 2026.
