On April 9, Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to assess the progress of compensation, resettlement support and the implementation of the Yen Binh concentrated digital technology zone project.
The Yen Binh concentrated digital technology zone project has a scale of 197.6ha, involving about 1,200 households.
In which, Van Xuan ward has an area of 135.7ha, with about 800 households, expected to arrange resettlement for 266 households, relocate about 500 graves; Diem Thuy commune has an area of 61.9ha with 400 households, expected to arrange resettlement for 160 households, relocate about 300 graves.
The investor has coordinated with localities to declare 32.52ha of agricultural land of 400 households, declare residential land and assets on land, and statistically recorded 406 out of a total of 800 graves of 144 households.
The implementation process is considered to have difficulties and obstacles when some areas do not have centralized cemeteries to move graves, and households do not agree in declaring. The situation of building works within the land clearance area still occurs.
Mr. Duong Van Luong - Vice Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee requested the investor to closely coordinate with localities, striving to complete site clearance work before April 30.
Proactively prepare funding sources, develop infrastructure investment plans and attract secondary investors. Relevant localities need to strengthen land management within the project scope, assigning responsibility to the government in resettlement arrangement.
Yen Binh concentrated information technology park was approved for investment policy by Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee, and also approved for investors in September 2025.
The project has a total investment of more than 3.5 trillion VND. Implementation progress until the end of the third quarter of 2028. It is expected to attract 16 thousand workers.
