Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung affirmed that the development of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation is an important driving force for the country to develop rapidly and sustainably in the new period.
The investment in building the Yen Binh concentrated digital technology zone is a step in line with the orientation of the Party and the State.
At the same time, it creates a foundation for Thai Nguyen to promote its advantages in geographical location, infrastructure, human resources and investment environment, gradually becoming a digital technology center of the region.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested Thai Nguyen province to continue to strongly improve the investment environment, synchronously develop technical infrastructure, digital infrastructure and social infrastructure.
Investors need to focus resources, organize construction to ensure progress, quality, safety and environmental protection to soon put the project into operation and promote investment efficiency.
Yen Binh concentrated digital technology zone project has a scale of nearly 200ha, with a total investment of over 3,500 billion VND.
The project is implemented in Van Xuan ward and Diem Thuy commune, planned according to the "Digital - Green - Net Zero" ecosystem model, integrating research and development areas, data centers, hardware and software production...
The project is oriented to develop into a "Pioneering Urban Technology Complex" of the whole country.
