Perform well assigned functions and tasks
On December 30, in Hanoi, Party Central Committee member and Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai attended and gave a speech at the Conference to review the work and Party work in 2024 and deploy the tasks and Party work in 2025 of the State Audit Office (SA).
The State Audit Office's report shows that in 2024, the entire sector has basically completed a large volume of work plans with many outstanding results. In particular, it has sent to the National Assembly the State Budget Finalization Audit Report for 2022, the 2023 Audit Results Summary Report at the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly; the Audit Results Summary Report of the Socio-Economic Recovery and Development Program according to Resolution No. 43/2022/QH15 of the National Assembly... Synthesizing the audit results for the audit reports issued as of December 15, 2024, the State Audit Office recommended financial settlement of VND 22,817 billion.
In order to effectively perform the assigned functions and tasks, the State Audit Office has determined the direction of operation in 2025 such as continuing to effectively and qualitatively implement the plan to implement the State Audit Development Strategy to 2030, competing to achieve achievements to welcome the State Audit Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term towards the 14th National Party Congress; constantly improving the quality of audit activities based on the strong application of information technology, promoting administrative reform; improving the effectiveness of audit conclusions and recommendations; strengthening international cooperation and integration, enhancing the role and position of the State Audit Office of Vietnam in the region and in the world; tightening discipline and order in performing public duties to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the State Audit Office's operations with the motto "Safety - Prestige".
Speaking at the Conference, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai acknowledged, highly appreciated and commended the outstanding and comprehensive results of the State Audit in 2024. Accordingly, in 2024, the State Audit has made many innovations to respond to the new situation. Thereby, contributing to tightening discipline in the management and use of public finance and assets, preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity; providing a lot of information for the National Assembly in legislation, supervision and decision-making on important issues of the country. The outstanding results in all aspects of work are evidence of the maturity of the State Audit over 30 years of construction and development.
Continue to overcome shortcomings and limitations
Emphasizing that in 2025, the tasks set for the State Audit Office are numerous and challenging, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai requested that the Party Committee, the State Audit Office's leadership and all cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and workers of the State Audit Office continue to promote the spirit of responsibility, solidarity, initiative, creativity, maintain strict discipline and order, overcome shortcomings and limitations, continue to have many solutions and innovations to comprehensively complete the proposed work plan...
At the Conference, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai presented the Government's Emulation Flag to the State Audit Office; and presented the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on retirement to enjoy social insurance benefits to Deputy General Auditor Nguyen Tuan Anh.
