On September 10, Inspection Team No. 05 led by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy inspected key projects and the disbursement of public investment capital for projects invested by the Provincial Military Command and the An Giang Provincial Border Guard Command.
Inspection Team No. 05 has come to survey the actual implementation of the project to renovate, repair and upgrade the Provincial Military Command's House and the project to renovate, repair and upgrade sewers, fences, duty houses, reception houses and technical infrastructure systems under the Provincial Military Command; working on the progress of projects assigned to the Provincial Military Command and the Provincial Border Guard Command as investors.
According to the report, the Provincial Military Command was allocated public investment capital by the Provincial People's Committee in 2025 of VND 525.7 billion, investing in 14 projects. The Provincial Border Guard Command was allocated public investment capital by the Provincial People's Committee in 2025 of more than 26.2 billion VND. The two units estimate that by December 31, 2025, the disbursement will reach 100% of the annual plan.
In the remaining time of 2025, to ensure 100% disbursement of public investment capital, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy requested investors to be more determined, efforts, and closer. Focus and give maximum priority to the task of disbursing public investment capital, ensuring that by the end of 2025, 100% of the public investment capital plan will be achieved in accordance with the direction of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Strengthen inspection, supervision, and urging contractors and design consultants to speed up progress, ensure safety and quality of works; assign specific staff to monitor each project in the spirit of 6 clearly "clear people, clear work, clear progress, clear responsibilities, clear results, clear authority".
Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy requested the Provincial Military Command to review and specifically report on the project implementation process, problems and difficulties in implementing land procedures and propose handling measures, send to the Department of Agriculture and Environment for synthesis.
Based on the report of the Provincial Military Command, the Department of Agriculture and Environment was assigned to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Construction and relevant agencies, units and localities to guide investors to complete procedures and implement the next steps. In case of exceeding the authority, coordinate to report to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and handling according to regulations.
