On June 26, at the Hon Dat District Martyrs' Cemetery, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee (UBND), Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the armed forces of Kien Giang province solemnly held a visitation ceremony, a memorial service and burial ceremony for the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died in the war in Cambodia and in the country in the 28th period of 2025.
Speaking at the memorial service, Vice Chairman of Kien Giang Provincial People's Committee Le Trung Ho expressed his respect and infinite gratitude to the heroic martyrs, generations of Fathers, brothers and revolutionary soldiers who heroically sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland for the happiness of the people; shared the irreparable pain and loss of the martyrs' families and relatives.
Vice Chairman of Kien Giang Provincial People's Committee Le Trung Ho emphasized: The Party Committee, government, armed forces and people of Kien Giang province will continue to inherit and promote the precious tradition, unite to overcome all difficulties and challenges, and develop a rich and sustainable homeland.
At the same time, he promised to continue taking care of families who are still suffering the pain of loss. Continue to maintain the peace that you have traded for with blood and bones, continue to nurture the noble ideal of living for today's young generation so that the young generation of Kien Giang can be proud, grateful, and live worthy of the sacrifices of many previous generations.

Carrying out the task of searching for and collecting martyrs' remains in Cambodia and in Kien Giang province in 2024 - 2025, Team K92, Kien Giang Provincial Military Command searched for and collected 32 martyrs' remains. Of which, 13 remains were collected in the Kingdom of Cambodia and 19 martyrs' remains were collected in the province.
Implementing the Agreement between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia from 2001 to present, officers and soldiers of Team K92 have searched and collected the remains of volunteer martyrs and Vietnamese experts to bury in martyrs cemeteries in the province.
