The Tan Duong Industrial Cluster Project has a total investment of more than 450 billion VND, invested by Thagaco International Investment Joint Stock Company. The project started in November 2022 on a 13-hectare campus in the old Tan Duong commune (now Phuong Tien commune). The industrial cluster is located near Provincial Road 254, Ho Chi Minh Road and densely populated areas.
According to PV in the last days of July 2025, the industrial cluster project in the mountainous commune of Thai Nguyen has gradually emerged. The project stands out and is invested in a large scale, this is the first industrial cluster in the ATK area.
Inside the project, factory No. 1, internal road system, lighting, and sidewalk have been basically completed.
At the construction site, dozens of workers continue to complete technical infrastructure items, installing machinery and equipment inside factory No. 1.
Phuong Tien used to be a purely agricultural area, people mainly relied on rice cultivation, growing acacia, tea... The economy was unstable and lacking jobs, many local youth were forced to leave their hometowns to find a livelihood in industrial parks in Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, Thai Nguyen.
With the appearance of Tan Duong Industrial Cluster - the first project in the locality, the hope for a more stable life is lit up right on the homeland.
"The main thing is to have a stable job, not having to go abroad like before. Previously, my children and grandchildren had to go to the South and the North to work as workers, it was hard and costly, but the cost of living was high.
Now that there is a factory near their home, everyone wants to stay and work, having time to take care of their family and saving a lot of money. Local people are looking forward to the project being completed and put into operation soon, said Mr. Nguyen Van Trinh (Phuong Tien commune, Thai Nguyen province).
Ms. Le Thi Hanh (32 years old, Phuong Tien commune), who had been away from her hometown for nearly 10 years, worked as a worker in Bac Ninh. When she heard that the Tan Duong industrial cluster project was about to come into operation, she decided to return to her hometown to settle down and start a business.
"When I heard that the industrial cluster was about to operate, I was very happy. Now I just hope the factory will recruit me early to apply for a job, having a job near my home is a happy thing. In the countryside, with parents and children, the hardship is reduced, and the spirit is much more comfortable.
This is the first industrial cluster in the commune, which will solve employment for local people. Previously, when young people finished school, they did not have to worry about living at home in the fields or going to the countryside. The scene of workers living far from home, lacking everything, now no longer exists," said Ms. Hanh.
According to Ms. Hanh, not only solving the problem of food and clothing, people believe that when the industrial cluster comes into operation, the face of the village will also change significantly. The spacious roads, services accompanying development, and the material and spiritual life of the people have also been improved.
According to a leader of Tan Duong Industrial Park, the project's progress has reached over 90%. The unit is completing factory No. 1, the items of planting trees and completing the rainwater drainage system will be completed in October 2025.
The industrial cluster is expected to be put into operation in 2025, expected to create jobs for more than 4,000 workers.
