According to the People's Committee of Krong No district, in the period of 2022-2024, the district has implemented the National Target Program on socio-economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas.
From the district's funding source, 20 vocational training classes in the agricultural and non-agricultural fields have been organized, attracting nearly 600 students to participate.

Vocational training is gradually becoming a popular trend, especially attracting young people in remote areas. In particular, occupations such as: Civil power, agricultural machinery repair, cooking, community tourism, brocade weaving... are highly appreciated for their practicality, ease of application and ability to create stable income.
Mr. Tran Loc Ha, a resident of Nam Da commune, shared: "I used to work as a freelancer with an unstable income. Thanks to attending an electrical vocational training class organized by the locality, I have solid knowledge and skills".
"Now, I can repair electricity for daily use and machinery for agricultural production by myself. Thereby, I can save costs and have more income" - Mr. Ha added.

Through practical research, it can be seen that the short time for vocational training, reasonable costs, and content close to actual needs are factors that help vocational training courses such as civil electricity and agricultural machinery repair become suitable choices for many people.
After completing the course, students can apply to work at civil works, businesses or start their own businesses with home repair services.
Ms. Ha Thi Duc, a Muong ethnic group in Buon Choah village, Buon Choah commune, after completing a cooking course at the Vocational Education - Continuing Education Center, boldly started a wedding cooking service.

Her facility currently creates stable jobs for more than 10 local workers with an income of about 4 million VND/person/month. According to the assessment, vocational training not only opens up opportunities to escape poverty but is also an important step to help people reach an independent and sustainable life.
Mr. Tran Thai Chau - Secretary of the Nam Da Commune Party Committee commented: "Vocational training classes have brought practical results, especially for ethnic minorities".
According to Mr. Chau, the effectiveness of vocational training is that people not only improve their awareness but also have access to new equipment and technology. From there, people can apply it to production, life and create more stable job opportunities.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Danh - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Krong No district affirmed that through vocational training under the National Target Program, the quality of labor resources in the area has been gradually improved, contributing to changing outdated production practices.
The program has contributed to the formation of a skilled workforce, serving the development of the agricultural, forestry, handicraft and community tourism sectors.
"As people's lives are increasingly improved, security and social order, especially in remote, isolated and border areas, are also more firmly guaranteed" - Mr. Danh shared.
