On August 31, Ia Pa Commune Police, Gia Lai Province, said that the unit had mobilized 20 officers, soldiers and grassroots security forces, coordinating with local authorities and people to fix the problem of the road through Dak Ia Hiao stream being eroded.

By using temporary sandbags to reinforce the overflowing tunnel, the authorities have created conditions for people and vehicles to pass safely.
During the reinforcement process, officers and soldiers also supported people in transporting belongings, taking vehicles, and carrying the elderly and weak through the spillway, ensuring safety right on the holiday.

As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, heavy rain lasting for many days has caused landslides on the road through the Dak Ia Hiao stream overflow, isolating 341 households in Mo Nang village.
The floodwaters gradually receded, and the road section through the culvert was severely damaged. The strong current swept away the previous layer of reinforced gravel, causing the road surface to break, exposing many large rocks.
