The northern area of Thai Nguyen province (former Bac Kan) is gradually forming industrial clusters. Investment and construction in the mountainous area is expected to change the face of the locality.
In particular, when industrial clusters go into operation, it will solve the job problem for local workers. Many people will solve their livelihood problems and escape the scene of leaving their hometowns to wander far away.

In Dong Luong village (Quang Chu commune), the Quang Chu Industrial Cluster project started in October 2024 with a capital of nearly 500 billion VND.
The industrial cluster has an area of 74ha, located on the traffic axis connecting to the Cho Moi - Thai Nguyen expressway. The industrial cluster is expected to attract a large number of manufacturing and processing enterprises.
According to PV's records, at the end of February 2026, after a long period of construction, the Quang Chu Industrial Cluster project was basically completed. Some areas have completed site clearance.
Internal roads, drainage culverts, and factory foundations are constructed according to each sub-area. Completed locations are prioritized for handover to secondary investors.
According to the Quang Chu Industrial Cluster Project Management Board, 5 secondary investors are building factories in the industrial cluster campus. In the near future, the project will be basically completed to put into operation, creating a foundation for factories to soon go into production.
It is expected that when it comes into operation, this industrial cluster will create jobs for over 10,000 local workers.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoan (Quang Chu commune) said that after the Tet holiday, I decided to stay in my hometown to wait to apply for a job at Quang Chu Industrial Cluster.
Previously, I had to work in Bac Ninh, many people went to work in industrial parks in the South. Now there is an industrial park right near my house, so everyone is excited.
Having stable jobs, people no longer have to wander far from home," Ms. Hoan excitedly said.
About 40km from Quang Chu, up to the center of Bac Kan province (old), Huyen Tung industrial cluster is also solving the job problem for local workers every day.
Here, in June 2024, the export shoe processing factory was started. On a scale of 13ha with a total investment of more than 600 billion VND, the factory has a capacity of 10 million pairs of shoes/year.
After a long period of construction, the project has now been completed. According to the plan, attracting secondary investors will create jobs for about 5,000 local workers.

The formation of industrial clusters in the northern Thai Nguyen region will gradually solve the livelihood problem for people. With stable jobs, the lives of local workers are also gradually improved.
Mr. Nguyen Hoai Nam (Bac Kan ward) said: "Due to many factors such as terrain and resources, the mountainous area is very difficult. Having projects and industrial clusters is really meaningful.
People have jobs right in their hometowns. From there, they can stabilize their lives. We hope that many projects to create jobs and livelihoods for people like this will continue to be implemented.
