On September 10, the leader of Dong Gia Nghia ward (Lam Dong) said that the locality is coordinating with relevant agencies to organize the handling of landslide consequences. At the same time, the authorities also mobilized and evacuated 4 households in the dangerous area to safety.

Previously, in recent days, in Dong Gia Nghia ward, there has been prolonged heavy rain, leading to serious landslides in the area of residential group 6 of the ward.
Here, the authorities determined that the landslide area has an area of about 1,000 m2, the amount of rock and soil from above that collapsed below was about 900 m3.
A large amount of rock and soil at the landslide site continued to flow into residential areas, threatening houses.

To ensure safety, the authorities have blocked off the scene, put up warning signs of danger, and evacuated people in the vicinity of the landslide to other places.
On September 10, in Lam Vien - Da Lat, Xuan Huong - Da Lat, Xuan Truong - Da Lat, Cam Ly - Da Lat, Langbiang - Da Lat, Lam Dong wards, heavy rain occurred, causing many roads and residential areas to be partially flooded.

In particular, the heavy rain that occurred from 12pm to 1pm on the same day combined with the amount of water pouring in from upstream caused Phan Dinh Phung Street, Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat to be deeply flooded.
According to records, floodwaters caused 1 km of Phan Dinh Phung Street to be flooded up to 0.6 m, causing traffic disruption in the area. The water rose, flooding into houses and shops along the road, causing damage to many properties.
Meanwhile, heavy rain also caused local flooding in the residential area next to Lu Gia stream, Lam Vien - Da Lat ward; damaged the surface of Le Van Tam street, Xuan Huong - Da Lat ward.
