Kien Giang – A clip of a group of female students beating a female friend posted on social media has angered many people.

Recently, a short video clip went viral on social media recording an incident where a female student was beaten by a group of classmates on the street, making viewers angry.

Regarding the above incident, on November 9, Mr. Pham Van Nghe - Principal of Minh Thuan Secondary and High School (Minh Thuan Commune, U Minh Thuong District, Kien Giang Province) - said that the group of female students who beat their friend and the female student who was beaten in the clip posted on social media were 7th grade students of the school.

In a clip on social media, a female student wearing the gym uniform of Minh Thuan Secondary and High School is surrounded by a group of female friends. Images from the clip show the female student being forced to apologize by the group.

Immediately after that, two female students stepped forward, slapped, grabbed her hair, and punched and kicked her. Many students witnessed the beating but no one intervened.

Mr. Nghe also informed that the incident had been resolved by the school and the family, and the students had realized their wrongdoings and admitted their mistakes. The students were still young, only in 7th grade, so their awareness was limited. The school and the family would pay attention and educate them to avoid similar incidents.
