Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Department of Construction, and the Department of Industry and Trade to guide and urge units in the area to manage lakes, ponds, and lagoons that are not leveled according to regulations.

Commune-level People's Committees develop plans and organize the protection and management of lakes, ponds, and lagoons that are not leveled in the managed area according to the provisions of law.
Strengthen propaganda and raise awareness for the community not to discharge untreated waste into lakes, ponds, and lagoons that pollute water sources, and not to arbitrarily level or renovate lakes, ponds, and lagoons in the list.




Organizations and individuals managing lakes, ponds, and lagoons on the list not to be leveled use them for the right purpose and comply with regulations on managing lakes, ponds, and lagoons not to be leveled.
Strictly control acts of illegal construction encroachment, discharging domestic, production, and business wastewater without treatment into lakes, ponds, and lagoons.
