The Department of Agriculture and Environment of Lao Cai province has just issued a decision to administratively sanction An Binh Vien International Investment, Trade and Service Joint Stock Company with the amount of 350 million VND.
According to the decision, An Binh Vien Company headquartered in Nam Cuong ward, Lao Cai province (formerly in Minh Bao commune, Yen Bai city) directed by Mr. Hoang Minh Duc violated the environmental field when implementing the An Binh Vien Cemetery Park Project without a decision approving the results of the environmental impact assessment report under the authority of the Provincial People's Committee.
In addition to the main fine of VND 350 million, the company will also be subject to an additional penalty of suspending construction activities of project items for a period of 9 months.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment of Lao Cai province requires An Binh Vien Company to strictly comply with the penalty decision.
In case the enterprise does not voluntarily comply within the prescribed time limit, the competent authority will carry out enforcement according to the law.
At the same time, the enterprise will have to pay an additional 0.05% of the unpaid fine for each late date.
