Lao Cai - The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee has just issued an official dispatch directing the strengthening of discipline and order in the process of implementing the two-level local government model.

One of the emphasized contents is the management and use of public service cars, considering this an important criterion to evaluate the exemplary spirit and responsibility of leaders.

Accordingly, Party committees, Party organizations, agencies and units in Lao Cai province must seriously implement the conclusion dated August 9, 2025 on the results of operating the new model.

The Standing Committee of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee requires absolutely not to use public transport for personal purposes, especially pick-up and drop-off from home to work and vice versa.

This regulation not only ensures compliance with the regulations of the Party and State but also demonstrates the spirit of integrity, transparency, and building the image of a government serving the people.

In addition to tightening the management of public vehicles, Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee also directed many solutions to ensure the effective operation of the two-level government.

In particular, the payment of support funds for cadres, civil servants and public employees working at provincial and commune-level administrative centers must be completed in September, to encourage working spirit and ensure legitimate rights.

The Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee Party Committee is assigned to organize training courses and professional development for grassroots cadres, focusing on the fields of finance, land, construction investment and information technology.

Along with that, the arrangement of public service vehicles for general services, renovation of headquarters, public housing, and procurement of equipment must be done seriously.

Relevant departments and branches are also required to urgently remove difficulties, from budget allocation, social security policy resolution, to completing land procedures, and construction investment.

Provincial working groups continue to accompany and support communes and wards to remove obstacles and periodically report implementation results to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee.

These drastic instructions affirm Lao Cai's determination to build a streamlined and transparent administrative apparatus, focusing on the interests of the people.
