On June 21, according to Lao Dong, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Son La province signed a Decision to establish a Standing Department to receive, guide and respond to feedback and recommendations related to the work of restructuring the apparatus in the political system from the province to the grassroots.
According to the decision, Mr. Dang Ngoc Hau - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee is the Head of the Standing Department.
The Deputy Heads include Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee, Directors of the Department of Home Affairs, and the Department of Finance. The Standing Committee has 33 members who are representatives of leaders of departments, branches, sectors and professional departments.

The main task of the department is to receive and process comments sent from the grassroots level, ensuring that the process of reorganizing the apparatus takes place synchronously, within the right authority and promptly resolves arising problems.
The standing department operates in the form of concurrent positions, an inter-sectoral coordination organization without its own apparatus. The Department of Home Affairs is assigned as a standing agency, coordinating all activities.
Specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee are members of the Standing Committee, playing a role in advising and handling contents in the field of expertise when there are proposals from agencies, units and localities.
