5 consecutive fishing boats sank in one morning in Lam Dong

Lam Dong - The rising and flowing water in the river caused 2 fishing boats to sink at Phan Ri port and 3 boats to sink at La Gi port.

On the afternoon of November 8, fishermen are trying to salvage sunken fishing boats at 2 port gates in Lam Dong.

On the same morning, the water rose and flowed rapidly, 2 fishing boats anchored on the Luy River had broken anchor ropes and drifted out to Phan Ri port in Phan Ri Cua commune, Lam Dong province.

The two fishing boats sank right in the middle of the channel entering and leaving the port. Specifically, fishing boat BTh 80681 TS, 11.5m long, 45 CV capacity and fishing boat BTh 88320 TS, 12.2m long, 30 CV capacity. Property damage is estimated at about 310 million VND.

Also on the morning of November 8, at the gate of La Gi port in Phuoc Hoi ward (Lam Dong province), there were 3 fishing boats that sank. At that time, the water level of the Dinh River rose and flowed rapidly.

Fishing boat BTh 81196 TS with a capacity of 35 CV, 7.1m long, when moving into La Gi port, was hit by big waves, leading to complete submersion. The estimated damage is about 200 million VND.

Next, 2 fishing vessels BTh 85885 TS (capacity 310 CV, length 14.65 meters) and fishing vessel BTh 86131 TS (capacity 56 CV, length 15.4m) are anchored at La Gi port. The strong current caused the two vehicles to overturn and sank on the spot.

Fortunately, there were no casualties in the above incidents.
