According to the leader of Vung Ang Ward People's Committee, at more than 7:00 a.m. on November 4, a landslide occurred on part of the slope of Da Bon mountain range located next to National Highway 12C in residential group 2 Hai Phong.
The incident caused nearly 5,000m3 of rock and soil and large trees on the mountain to fall down, blocking the entire road connecting to Vung Ang port area, causing traffic disruption.
In addition, some other locations have cracks, with the risk of further landslides as the rain continues to be complicated.
As soon as it was discovered, the People's Committee of Vung Ang Ward sent forces to be present, put up warning signs, regulate traffic from a distance, and mobilized vehicles and excavators to quickly deploy measures to overcome landslides and reopen the route soon.

Due to the impact of prolonged heavy rain, the coastal road of Ha Tinh also suffered landslides, spilling onto the road, causing traffic disruption.

Currently, the authorities have set up barriers and warning signs at both ends of the landslide to ensure safety, and mobilized machinery to clean up to reopen the route.
