In the afternoon of September 14, in an exchange with reporters, leaders of Yen Binh Commune People's Committee (Lao Cai province) confirmed that a traffic accident had just occurred in the area, killing one person.
Accordingly, at about 0:15 on the same day, at km18 National Highway 70, in Yen Binh commune, a man driving a motorbike with license plate 26B2-592. xx moving to the above location collided with a pickup truck with license plate 21C-095. xx.

According to some witnesses, at the time of the incident, the motorcyclist was carrying a can of gasoline, so when the collision occurred, the fire broke out fiercely, causing the victim to be burned to death on the spot.
Then, at 11:17 am on the same day, at km25 National Highway 70, in Bao Ai commune, a collision occurred between a passenger car and a motorbike. The collision killed the motorcyclist on the spot.

According to images from the dashcam on the passenger car recorded, at the time of the incident it was raining, the two vehicles were going in opposite directions and the incident occurred.
After receiving reports of the above 2 accidents, Road Traffic Police Team No. 5 (Traffic Police Department of Lao Cai Provincial Police) sent officers to the scene, coordinating with functional units to protect the scene and clarify the cause of the incident.
