According to Ha Tinh Power Company, in recent times, violations of high-voltage power grid safety corridors such as planting trees, arbitrarily digging, filling soil, constructing works, theft, removing materials and equipment on the power grid have basically decreased.
However, the number of violations caused by people releasing kites entangled in the power line is still "hot" despite the electricity industry having increased and promoted forms of propaganda, while coordinating with authorities to strictly apply sanctions according to regulations.
In particular, during the hot weather period (from May to August), which is also the time when students have a summer vacation, the situation of kitchens tends to increase, the risk of power grid incidents due to kitchens getting caught in the power line is present.
Ha Tinh Power Company recommends: People or children when playing kitchens must stay away from power lines, preferably outside the 1,000m range from the edge of the above power grid, not supplying 110kV or 500m from the edge of the medium-voltage power grid, from 1kV to 35kV.
If releasing kitchens, you should choose places with large spaces, no power lines, or nearby power stations to avoid unfortunate incidents that damage equipment and power systems, causing unsafe risks to the kitchens themselves.
In case a kite or kite wire is wrapped in a power line, it is necessary to immediately report to the electricity industry for timely handling, absolutely do not climb on the power pole without permission, do not use a saw to remove the kite from the power line to avoid the risk of accidents.
Launching storks in the power grid corridor area is a prohibited act.
Clause 18, Article 2 of Decree 17 of 2022 of the Government stipulates that administrative sanctions in the field of electricity will be fined from 5 million VND to 10 million VND for releasing storks or any object that causes a power grid problem; at the same time, compensation for damages when an incident occurs in accordance with regulations.
In cases that cause serious incidents, disruptions, widespread power outages, electrical accidents, etc., they will be prosecuted according to the provisions of law.
