The total investment of the entire project is about 19,830 billion VND. The total length of the project is about 5.15km, the starting point connects to Nghi Tam road, and the ending point connects to Truong Sa road.
The Tran Hung Dao bridge project has a total investment of more than 16,967 billion VND, starting point at the Tran Hung Dao - Tran Thanh Tong intersection; ending point connecting to Nguyen Son street with a total length of about 4.18km.
Regarding the investment scale, the main bridge over the Red River is 870m long, including 6 spans, a cross-section scale of 43m, ensuring 6 lanes for motorized vehicles, 2 lanes for bicycles and 2 lanes for pedestrians.
The approach roads at both ends of the bridge have a cross-section scale of 25.5 - 30m with a total length of about 1.42km. The project will invest in building 3 complete intersections, including: An elevated intersection with Tran Khanh Du, Nguyen Khoai streets; an intersection with Ta Hong dike road (Long Bien - Xuan Quan road); an equal intersection with Nguyen Son road. The project is expected to be completed in 2027.
The Hong Ha bridge project is invested with a preliminary total of nearly 10,000 billion VND, expected to be completed after about 3 years of construction and promises to create an important traffic axis connecting the two banks of the Red River.
The project is part of Component Project 3 of the Ring Road 4 Construction Investment Project, implemented according to the public-private partnership (PPP) method. Ring Road 4 has a total length of nearly 81 km elevated, accounting for more than 71% of the entire route, including 3 large bridges over rivers: Hong Ha, Me So and Hoai Thuong.
According to the design, Hong Ha bridge has a length of about 6 km, a cross-section width of 24.5 m, including 4 lanes for motorized vehicles and arranging one lane for motorbikes and rudimentary vehicles on each side. The total investment of the project is more than 7,300 billion VND from the city budget, expected to be completed in 2027.
The project to invest in the construction of Hanoi City urban railway line No. 5 (Van Cao - Ngoc Khanh - Lang - Hoa Lac) has a total length of nearly 40 km, with a total investment of more than 72,000 billion VND. The project plays an important role in reducing traffic congestion, promoting urban development according to the public transport orientation model (TOD), connecting the central area with the west of the city.
The project to invest in the construction of a road connecting Gia Binh airport with Hanoi Capital using the PPP method, Construction - Transfer (BT) contract type with a total investment of nearly 33,000 billion VND. This is an important external transport route, serving regional connectivity, receiving high-level international delegations, with urgent progress requirements to meet the organization of the APEC 2027 Conference.
