Two golf courses worth nearly a trillion VND to be completed in 2025
The Glory golf course project in Thanh Cong commune (Pho Yen city) with a scale of 54 hectares, with 18 holes, a total investment of nearly 388 billion VND, invested by MDA G&C Company Limited, has now reached 70% of the volume.
Recorded at the end of April 2025, items such as golf course shaping, lawns, drainage systems, electric vehicle roads, clubhouses and auxiliary works have been formed and accelerated.
According to the investor, with the current construction speed, the golf course is expected to be completed in July 2025, 2 months ahead of schedule.
Meanwhile, the Tan Thai golf course project in Tan Thai commune, Dai Tu district has an area of 84.2 hectares, with a total investment of over 586 billion VND. The project is invested by Tan Thai Golf Joint Stock Company, which is also the largest golf course in Thai Nguyen province at the present time.
After 2 years of construction, the Tan Thai golf course project with a scale of 18 holes according to international standards is gradually taking shape. Currently, the investor is mobilizing machinery and human resources, dividing construction shifts day and night to speed up the progress, striving to complete in 2025.
This is the first golf course project approved by the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee for investment after the Prime Minister approved the Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050.
Restarting the VND2,100 billion urban road project
The Bac Son extended road project in Thai Nguyen City is 9.5km long. The total investment is more than VND 2,100 billion under the PPP - BT Contract form invested by Xuan Truong Construction Enterprise.
This project started in July 2018 and is expected to be completed in December 2019. However, after some payment problems, this trillion-dong project has been unfinished for the past 7 years.
In early April 2025, in Notice No. 152/TB-VPCP, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha agreed to allow the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province to use the land fund that has been cleared to pay the investor of the extended Bac Son road project.
After the bottleneck was removed, Thai Nguyen province coordinated with investors to restart the project. The items of planting trees, building lighting systems, and adding asphalt concrete on the cement concrete road are being constructed synchronously.
Mr. Do Thanh Chung - Director of Xuan Truong Construction Enterprise said that the unit has mobilized total machinery and equipment, organized 10 teams to spread out the entire route to simultaneously construct 3 items. It is expected that by June 30, 2025, the entire project will be completed and handed over.
