At around 4:00 a.m. on October 7, a tornado suddenly swept through the area of Tuong residential group, Chu Van An ward, Hai Phong city, affecting the property and daily life of many households.
According to initial information, although there were no human casualties, the tornado blew off the roofs of some houses, knocking down electric poles, surrounding walls and trees in residential areas.
The strong winds and sudden developments left many people unable to react. Some roofs were damaged.
Fallen trees and surrounding walls not only damage auxiliary works but also pose a potential risk to the safety of people passing by, especially in bad weather conditions.
Immediately after the incident, the Chu Van An ward government and local authorities were present at the scene to check the situation and support people in overcoming the initial consequences.
Statistics on damage, cleaning up fallen trees, and ensuring safety in areas with affected electric poles are being implemented.
