At around 1:00 p.m. on March 20, a major fire broke out at the house of Mr. Phan Nhat Bao Viet in Thach Giam town, Tuong Duong district, Nghe An province.
According to initial information, the fire broke out fiercely from the inside of the house, creating columns of black smoke rising high, covering the entire house.
Due to the absence of Mr. Viet's family members at the time of the fire, fortunately there were no casualties.
Discovering the fire, many people living nearby quickly came to help put out the fire and called the local fire fighting force.

Firefighting forces quickly arrived at the scene and organized fire extinguishing measures. After about 1 hour, it was not until 2:00 p.m. the same day that the fire was completely controlled.
However, due to the strong outbreak and rapid spread, almost the entire house and assets inside were completely burned down.
According to information from Mr. Nguyen Phung Hung - Chairman of Thach Giam Town People's Committee, immediately after the fire, the local government mobilized forces to visit, encourage and support the affected family. The authorities are also actively investigating and clarifying the cause of the fire.
Initial suspicions may be due to an electrical short circuit from an indoor power line system.
"The burned house is a house combined with a business, so the property damage is huge. The local government is coordinating with relevant units to assess the extent of the damage and support the family to overcome the difficulties" - Mr. Nguyen Phung Hung said.
