On February 25, information from Tuyen Quang Provincial Police said that the fire at Trung Mon market (Yen Son district) did not cause any human casualties.
The initial cause of the fire was determined to be an electrical short circuit at a shoe kiosk. Because the kiosk had many flammable materials, the fire quickly spread to the surrounding stalls.

The ceilings of all stalls are low, roofed with corrugated iron. When the foam fell down, it continued to form fire prey, causing the fire to spread rapidly.
Some kiosks use gas cylinders for cooking. Through inspection, most gas cylinders were not locked after use. When the fire burns the gas pipeline, the gas cylinders catch fire, creating a strong source of fire.

Previously, as Lao Dong reported, at around 6:30 am on February 25, Trung Mon market at Km6 caught fire fiercely. The market of more than 1,000 square meters has dozens of clothes and shoe kiosks burned down.
