Site clearance is creating an important driving force to help Hanoi accelerate the progress of many key transport projects. A series of projects such as Ngoc Hoi bridge, Van Phuc bridge, Tam Trinh road and Ring Road 4 are accelerating construction, contributing to completing infrastructure and expanding the development space of the Capital.
According to reporters of Lao Dong Newspaper, projects that complete site clearance early have favorable conditions for simultaneous construction. This result comes from the drastic involvement of localities in removing obstacles - a stage that has been considered a "bottleneck" of many infrastructure projects for many years.

Representatives of the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Environment said that currently 4 out of 7 bridge projects over the Red River, including Hong Ha, Me So, Van Phuc and Ngoc Hoi, have completed site clearance. The Tu Lien bridge project reached about 98.4%, while the Tran Hung Dao bridge reached over 96%.
At the Ngoc Hoi bridge project, the entire 32.6ha of land in Hanoi City has been handed over to the investor. Bat Trang commune alone has completed the clearance of more than 17ha of agricultural land related to 384 households.

Mr. Trieu Thanh Tung - Deputy Director of the Bat Trang commune Infrastructure Investment Project Management Board said that the locality has promoted propaganda and dialogue with people, and at the same time promptly resolved petitions to ensure rights in compensation and support work.
Thanks to the clean site, the Ngoc Hoi bridge project is currently simultaneously deploying 18 construction fronts. The contractor has completed 80/80 bored piles at the two main tower pillars, and at the same time constructed the approach bridge, pillar body and girder casting. The project is expected to be completed before the APEC 2027 Conference.
At Van Phuc bridge, nearly 29ha of land has been handed over to contractors. Construction units organize work according to the motto "3 shifts, 4 teams". To date, the main bridge section has completed 72/102 bored piles and is expected to open to traffic in the fourth quarter of 2027.

Not only bridge projects, many key roads also recorded positive changes after site clearance was resolved.
At the 3.5km long Tam Trinh road expansion project, with a total investment of more than 3,350 billion VND, the basic ground has been handed over to contractors. Many works within the project scope have been dismantled, creating conditions to accelerate construction progress.
Representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hoang Mai ward said that the locality has established working groups to directly propagate, mobilize, and answer problems related to resettlement and stabilizing people's lives after relocation, thereby creating consensus in site clearance work.
Meanwhile, the Ring Road 1 project, Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc section, after many years of delay due to site clearance problems, is being accelerated. Contractors are increasing manpower and machinery, the implementation volume has reached about 40% and is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
For the Ring Road 4 - Capital Region project, site clearance has been completed 100% of the plan with about 1,426ha of land handed over. Many resettlement areas and technical infrastructure works have been relocated, creating conditions for the entire route to enter the acceleration phase.
At the parallel route section through Thuong Tin district, many sections have completed asphalt concrete paving. According to the contractor representative, the current construction volume has reached about 85% of the contract value and strives to be completed in the third quarter of 2026.
In the component project of the expressway in PPP form, 9/12 bidding packages are being implemented simultaneously. Key items such as Hong Ha bridge, Me So bridge, Hoai Thuong bridge and overpass sections are being accelerated, aiming to complete major bridges before APEC 2027 and complete the entire route in 2027.
According to Mr. Nguyen Trong Dong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, the goal is not only to accelerate the disbursement of public investment capital but also to soon put projects into operation, promote investment efficiency, create growth momentum and expand development space for the Capital.
