Accordingly, on November 18, in Ninh Binh, the Center for Journalism Training - Vietnam Journalists Association organized a workshop with the theme "Converged Editorial Board Management: Experience and solutions for press agencies in the current situation".
The workshop was attended by representatives of the Vietnam Journalists Association and leaders of press agencies in the Northern region.

Speaking at the opening of the workshop, Mr. Nguyen Duc Loi, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association, emphasized that the workshop was organized with the aim of building the capacity to manage the convergence curriculum - a core factor that determines the effectiveness and sustainable development of journalism in the digital age.
The Vietnam Journalists Association always determines that for Vietnamese journalism to develop sustainably in the era of convergence and digital transformation, leaders of convergence newsrooms need to be equipped with modern governance thinking, flexible management skills and practical technological capacity.
Therefore, the workshop was organized as an open forum where managers, leaders of press agencies and journalists exchanged experiences, shared models, and sought feasible solutions for the problem of court administration converging in the locality.
"The transformation of today's press is not only an objective requirement of the times, but also a political responsibility and a social mission of revolutionary journalists. Every change, no matter how small, contributes to building public trust in journalism, in a genuine, humane voice and for the benefit of the community" - Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association Nguyen Duc Loi affirmed.
Also according to Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association Nguyen Duc Loi, currently, in the context of digital transformation and streamlining the apparatus, many localities have merged Newspapers and Radio and Television stations towards the model of convergence newspapers and multi-platform journalism. This is an important step, helping to unify focal points, improve management efficiency and gradually build a modern and professional press.
However, the practical operation of the gathering court after the merger still poses many challenges in managing, organizing the production of multi-platform content and developing a team of multi-purpose reporters.
The workshop is a forum for leaders of press agencies to exchange experiences, share practical models and propose solutions to improve the capacity of newsroom management, quality of content and efficiency of press activities.

At the workshop, delegates focused on discussing key contents such as: Experience in building, organizing and operating convergence newsrooms in the country and internationally; Model of delivery, coordination of content lines, chum mechanism and multi-platform content production; Application of technology and data in content management and public analysis; Experience in human resource management, conflict handling, motivation creation and development of a team of versatile journalists; practical lessons from central and local newspapers, radio and television agencies.
