On November 18, Vietjet Air sent a document to the Southern Airports Authority in Con Dao and Con Dao Airport, announcing the operation of flights connecting to Con Dao Airport (VCS).
In particular, it is expected that from November 25, this unit will put into operation 4 aircraft operating the Hanoi - Con Dao and Ho Chi Minh City - Con Dao routes, with a frequency of 1 trip/day each afternoon. By December 25, this unit continued to put 4 more aircraft into operation on the above routes, and doubled the number of flights served per day.
Previously, Vietjet Air had operated the Hanoi - Con Dao and Ho Chi Minh City - Con Dao direct flights since April 2025. However, by mid-October 2025, this unit had temporarily stopped exploiting the above routes. This causes passengers from the North to Con Dao to have to fly a connecting flight to Ho Chi Minh City or Can Tho, before continuing to Con Dao.
By reopening these two routes of Vietjet Air, passengers have more options, or save more time and costs on this particular route, especially around the beginning of the peak tourist season at the end of the year.
