Previously, on the evening of August 15, prolonged heavy rain caused a bridge section about 4m wide and about 6m long on Road No. 40, in Minh Thanh 5 quarter, Chon Thanh ward, to collapse and sink.
Fortunately, there were no people passing by at the time of the incident.
At the scene, part of the bridge was severely damaged, nearby the road surface was seriously sunk, with many large cracks.
