On the morning of September 15, Lieutenant Colonel Pham Duy Phuong - Deputy Political Commissar of the Military Command of Dang Thuy Tram commune said that the commune military force in coordination with functional sectors continued to expand the search area in Dong Ram village and discovered 3 more martyrs' remains.
The search process was carried out carefully and meticulously, according to each location with information provided by witnesses and local people. At the discovery points, in addition to remains, functional forces also found many artifacts related to soldiers such as buttons, tanks, parachutes, and parachute ropes.

These traces are collected and preserved with remains in accordance with regulations, serving the verification work, while ensuring solemnity and respect for the martyrs who sacrificed.
Previously, on October 9-10, functional forces of Dang Thuy Tram commune discovered and repatriated 3 sets of martyrs' remains in the Ho Sau and Dong Ram groups, Dong Ram village, along with some artifacts such as tanks, soldier hammocks, parachute ropes and buttons. Thus, up to now, 6 sets of martyrs' remains have been discovered in Dong Ram village.
According to information from witnesses, in the Sim Hill area, belonging to Dong Ram group, there were previously about 12 graves buried in 3 rows, suspected to be the remains of soldiers, police and guerrillas who sacrificed around 1968 - 1969. In the Ho Sau area, witnesses said there was a martyr's grave that sacrificed around 1973, belonging to the 3rd Sao Vang Division.
Currently, Dang Thuy Tram commune continues to coordinate with functional forces to expand searches in areas with related information. The forces are determined to search for and fully repatriate the remains of martyrs according to information provided by the people, contributing to bringing the martyrs back to their comrades, homeland and families.
