The Tra Khuc 3 Bridge Project has a total route length of 2.55km, of which the bridge is more than 708m long and the approach road is more than 1.8km long, with a total investment of 850 billion VND. Of which, the central budget is 525 billion VND, the rest is the provincial budget, the implementation period is from 2022 to 2025. The project's goal is to connect National Highway 24B with Provincial Road 623B, as well as connect the North-South Expressway, National Highway 1, forming a traffic network, connecting the center of Son Tinh district to Tu Nghia district. The project is invested by the Quang Ngai Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board.
According to the reporter, taking advantage of the sunny weather, contractors are mobilizing machinery and human resources to focus on constructing items on the bridge. Talking to the reporter, Mr. Nguyen Dung (65 years old), Tinh Ha commune, Son Tinh district, Quang Ngai province said: "My family has about 30 square meters of residential land that must be handed over to the State to implement the Tra Khuc 3 bridge project. For the common development, my family unanimously agreed to hand over the land so that the project can be implemented smoothly."
The Tra Khuc 3 Bridge Project has been identified by the Standing Committee of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee as a key project of the province for the 2024-2025 period, and is also on the list of projects to welcome the 21st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030. According to Mr. Ngo Van Dung - Director of the Quang Ngai Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, the project's capital plan for 2024 is 210 billion VND from the province's basic construction source; the cumulative capital plan allocated for the project to date is over 755 billion VND.
Son Tinh district is making great efforts to mobilize people to hand over land.
Since the Tra Khuc 3 project was implemented, the People's Committee of Son Tinh district has made every effort to propagate and mobilize households to hand over the land for construction. At the end of July 2024, there were still 9 households that had not agreed to hand over the land. Up to now, 8 households have agreed, only Mr. Huynh Ngoc Khanh, representing the heirs of Ms. Nguyen Thi Lien's household residing in Tinh Ha commune, Son Tinh district, has not yet handed over the land with an area of over 1,000m², located within the construction area of the road leading to Tra Khuc 3 bridge.
According to the reporter's records, the land plot of Mr. Huynh Ngoc Khanh's household has not been handed over to the State for construction, and is located on the road leading to Tra Khuc 3 bridge in Tinh Ha commune, Son Tinh district. The fact that this household has not handed over the land has caused the construction of the road leading to Tra Khuc 3 bridge to be blocked.
Speaking to reporters, Mr. Bui Tien Dung - Chairman of Tinh Ha Commune People's Committee said that in the case of Mr. Huynh Ngoc Khanh, the authorities from the district to the province have repeatedly organized campaigns to allocate land but he did not agree.
In the case where only one household has not yet handed over the site, causing difficulties in construction work and the risk of affecting the overall progress of the entire project, the investor has reported to the Steering Committee for the implementation of key projects in Quang Ngai province in the period of 2024-2025 for monitoring and direction. According to Mr. Ngo Van Dung, the investor has requested the Steering Committee to consider and direct the People's Committee of Son Tinh district to urgently resolve the problem of Mr. Huynh Ngoc Khanh's household; in case the household does not agree, consider and apply necessary measures to reclaim the land and hand over the site to the project in December 2024.
