Thanh Hoa - After a resident posted questions about the high monthly electricity bill due to the wrong electricity index, the authorities stepped in to check.

Accordingly, on September 4, on her personal Facebook, Ms. C.T.H posted an article reflecting that her family had the wrong power level, resulting in the August bill being higher than the amount of electricity consumed. The article quickly received thousands of shares on many groups.

According to Thanh Hoa Power Company, after receiving the above information, the unit coordinated with the authorities and local police to check and verify. The poster is Ms. C.T.H (residing in Ngoc Tra I village, Quang Chinh commune).

That same evening, the Quang Chinh Commune Police invited Ms. H. to work. Here, Ms. H. admitted that posting unverified information ( misusing the name of the electricity company) was wrong, causing controversy in public opinion, affecting the reputation of the organization and individual involved.

The verification also showed that Ms. H.'s family bought electricity from Thanh Hoa Electricity Business Management Joint Stock Company - an electricity seller not directly under the management system of the electricity industry.

After the incident was clarified, Ms. H. corrected the information on her personal page and groups and pledged not to repeat the offense.
