A female road manager was hit by a car while working on the road

    Ha Tinh - While cleaning and wiping the reflective on the median strip on National Highway 1, a female worker of the Road Management Department was hit by a car and had to be hospitalized for emergency care.

    The accident occurred at 8:30 a.m. on April 8 on National Highway 1 in Ky Dong town (Ky Anh district), when Ms. T.T.H (born in 1982) was a worker at Ky Anh Road Management Department under CP 456 while cleaning the reflective panel when a car with license plate 77A - 317.xx traveling from North to South hit her.

    The accident caused the female worker to fall onto the road, unconscious, and was taken to the emergency room by local people.

    After the incident, the Traffic Police of Ha Tinh Police coordinated with the road management agency to handle the scene and clarify the cause.

    According to the Ky Anh Road Management Department, during the cleaning process on the national highway, female worker T.T.H placed warning signs and hung a traffic hat from a distance in accordance with regulations to ensure safety, however, accidents still occurred.
