Khanh Hoa voters proposed to study and soon invest in the intersection at Km113+000 of the North-South expressway to ensure traffic connection between local routes and the expressway; invest in emergency lanes along both sides of the Cam Lam - Vinh Hao expressway.
After studying, the Ministry of Construction responded to the proposal to soon invest in the intersection at Km113+000 of the North-South expressway as follows:
The Ministry of Construction agreed with the proposal of voters of Khanh Hoa province on the necessity of investing in the intersection at Km113 of the North-South expressway to connect Provincial Road 709 with the North-South expressway.
On March 10, 2025, the Ministry of Construction approved the investment in adding the Thuan Nam intersection item to the Cam Lam - Vinh Hao construction investment component project invested under the BOT form with state budget capital.
Currently, Project Management Board 85 is implementing procedures to plan to start construction from July 15, 2025, and complete in December 2025.
Regarding the investment in emergency lanes along both sides of the Cam Lam - Vinh Hao expressway, the Ministry of Construction acknowledged the proposal of voters of Khanh Hoa province to ensure safety in the process of exploiting and using the route.
On June 18, 2025, the Ministry of Construction issued Document No. 5266/BXD-KHTC reporting to the Prime Minister on the investment plan to expand the North-South expressway sections in the East for the period 2017 - 2020 and the period 2021 - 2025 according to the scale of the complete 6-lane expressway, including the Cam Lam - Vinh Hao section.
After being approved by competent authorities, the Ministry of Construction will direct relevant units to implement investment in expanding the project with a complete expressway scale (including emergency lanes along both sides of the road) according to regulations.
To ensure safety for vehicles, the Ministry of Construction has directed relevant agencies to adjust and add 36 emergency stop strip locations (including both sides of the route) with an average distance between stop strips of 4 km to 5 km.
