In the afternoon of January 5, the body of a crew member was taken by a fishing boat to La Gi fishing port. The victim is Mr. N.V.L (born 1989, residing in Tan Hai commune).
According to initial information, on the same morning, fishing vessel BTh 96101 TS owned by Mr. C.S (resident of Tan Hai commune) was fishing at sea when it encountered an incident in the propeller area.
At this time, four crew members dived down to inspect and fix it. After that, three people boarded the ship safely, except for Mr. L who did not return to the water. The crew members organized a search and asked nearby operating ships for support.
By the afternoon of the same day, Mr. L's body was found and brought to La Gi fishing port. After the ship docked, functional forces carried out procedures according to regulations.
