According to the Southern Hydro-Meteorological Station, in the past 24 hours, the Southern region has had scattered rain, with moderate rain and heavy rain in some places. Rainfall from 7:00 a.m. on September 8 to 7:00 a.m. on September 9 in some places recorded: Dak Ha (Lam Dong) 82.2 mm, Thong Nhat (Dong Nai) 57.6 mm, Dong Ban (Tay Ninh) 26.2 mm, Vinh Dien (An Giang) 25.4 mm and Quang Tan (Lam Dong) 9.28 mm.
On September 9, rain tends to increase slightly. From noon to evening, rain is likely to appear over more than half of the area, locally heavy rain in some places. The area with high probability of rain is concentrated in the East and coastal Mekong Delta. People need to be wary of localized heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms, tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
From morning to noon, the South has sunshine, sometimes intermittent sunshine. The highest temperature is commonly 31-34 degrees Celsius, in some places above 34 degrees Celsius.
It is noteworthy that from about September 10-11, the weather in the South is likely to change significantly. Rain is forecast to increase in both area and amount. Cloudy, sunshine decreases; showers appear on a large scale, with moderate rain, heavy rain to very heavy rain in some places.
