Talking to reporters, the leader of the People's Committee of Tan Uyen city, Binh Duong province confirmed the information that a heavy rain and wind caused a tree fall and killed 1 person.
The incident occurred at 16:32 on April 10, on N2 Street, Nam Tan Uyen I Industrial Park, Khanh Binh Ward, Tan Uyen City, Binh Duong Province.
At this time, thunderstorms caused the royal poinciana tree to fall onto a motorbike with license plate 61N3-12XX. The motorbike driver, named T.V.E (born in 2009, from Ca Mau province), was carrying Ms. T.T.N.N (born in 2009, from Ca Mau province).
The royal poinciana branch fell on someone, causing Ms. N to suffer head injuries and be taken to An Phuoc Saigon Hospital for emergency treatment. He was then transferred by ambulance to Binh Duong General Hospital.
However, due to severe injuries, Ms. T.T.N.N died at the hospital.
Currently, the police are investigating the incident.
The People's Committee of Tan Uyen city said that in the case of the deceased, the People's Committee of the ward coordinated with the neighborhood to guide the family to prepare procedures to request support according to regulations.
