The program is carried out under the direction of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to support the community and promote local cultural and tourism development. The program is held on Ben Binh Dong flower street - part of the Spring Flower Market On the wharf under the boat.
The organizers purchased flowers and potted plants from more than 50 booths with a variety of flowers such as chrysanthemums, raspberry chrysanthemums, marigolds, cockscombs, etc. to support small traders in selling the remaining flowers.
These flowers were given to 400 poor households and 40 neighborhoods in District 8, contributing to spreading the spirit of mutual love in the community.
In addition, on January 27-28 (December 28 and 29), the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism continued to coordinate with sponsors to purchase about 2,000 more flower pots and ornamental plants to decorate the second phase of the Love Flower Street. This is an activity to refresh the space, serving tourists to visit, enjoy and take photos during Tet.
In total, about 9,500 flower pots of various types were purchased to decorate the flower street and give to poor households, contributing to the beauty of spring.
The Flower Street of Love not only creates a unique cultural space but also attracts the attention of many people and tourists. Every day, the flower street welcomes about 10,000 visitors to visit and take photos and is maintained until the 3rd day of the Lunar New Year.
This is an ideal destination, bringing meaningful experiences to the city's residents, domestic and foreign tourists. At the same time, it contributes to promoting the economic development and tourism culture of Ho Chi Minh City.
