Yen Bai - A landslide buried a house during heavy rain, causing 4 casualties in a family in Yen Bai city.

On the morning of June 26, speaking with Lao Dong, Mr. Luong Xuan Quynh, Chairman of Dong Tam Ward People's Committee, said that a landslide had just occurred in the area, causing a house to collapse completely and one person to die. The victim was identified as P.T.H (15 years old).

Accordingly, at around 1:45 a.m. on June 26, the authorities received a report of a landslide in the Km4 area, in Dong Tam ward, Yen Bai city (after Yen Bai newspaper).

The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of Yen Bai Province immediately mobilized 15 officers and soldiers, 3 specialized vehicles to the scene to support the evacuation of people to safety, and at the same time coordinated with other forces to deploy search and rescue plans.

At around 4am, the victim was found buried in the rubble and handed over to his family for funeral arrangements.

According to the victim's family, at the time of the landslide, it was raining heavily, and the entire sloped roof behind the house collapsed. The family has 4 members, 3 of whom sleep in the same room to escape in time. H was sleeping alone so she couldn't escape in time.
